Girls Wooden Sword Arwen's Lord of the Rings Hadhafang Replica Costume Prop
Finally, it's time for the girls to get in on the fun! :)
This is a beautiful hand crafted work of art. Made in replication of Arwen's from Lord of the Rings.
This is sword is great for taking people by surprise: "What's this? A Ranger caught off his guard?" :) Another favorite line that my sister loves to reenact with her sword is: "If you want him, come and claim him!" with a dramatic draw of her elvish blade. Heehee! :)
This sword measures 28" long (10" shorter than the original). It features the notches on the blade and hilt, which Arwen's has as a protection against hand injuries when fighting.
Tediously hand wood burned markings will never fade. All swirls, vines, leaves and elvish are accurate to Arewn's from the Lord of the Rings movie. A very solid, hefty hardwood blade will holdup beautifully. The handle is three pieces of wood glued together and carved down to the comfortable grip and burned on both sides with the vines. --Blade runes and decorations on right side of blade only!-- Hand sanded and finished smooth and finished with our own homegrown beeswax and natural oil finish--the blade is silky smooth and wonderful to the touch! You'll never want to stop palming it!
The sword's name is Hadhafang. The inscription says "Aen estar Hadhafang i chathol hen, thand arod dan i thang an i arwen" in english "This blade is called Hadhafang, a noble defense against the enemy throng for a noble lady."
Not intended for small children. Use prudence and supervision when gifting this to younger
